“You have to play hard to win HARD!”

When:	Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19
Where:	Matches played at Sombrero Resort and Marathon Community Park
Who:	All ages can play! Divisions: MWX (Op, 50)sd,FMLC (Translation: Singles: Men’s Open, Men’s Senior, Women’s Open, Women’s Senior. Doubles: Men’s Open, Men’s Senior, Women’s Open, Women’s Senior, Mixed Open, Mixed Senior. First match loser’s consolation bracket will be played.)
What:	First match loser’s consolation format. Maximum 16 entries per division. Main draw best of three sets unless tournament director posts different the morning of the tournament at Tournament Headquarters (Wonderlin Tennis at Sombrero Resort). Consolation draws best of three sets or 8 game pro-set.
Why:	Compete for the right to be Florida Keys Champion of the Hard Courts! Winners of each division get their name immortalized on the Florida Keys Championship plaque that will be added to each year. A portion of the proceeds of this event will be donated to the Marathon High School Tennis Program
Awards:	All finalists will receive trophies and winners will have name engraved on the Florida Keys Championship plaque.
Entry Fee, Refunds:	$35 per person per event. A full refund will be issued if tournament is canceled and cannot be rescheduled. If a player withdraws after entry deadline, no refund is provided unless a replacement is found. Maximum two events can be entered per person.
Rules:	Will follow USTA guidelines unless noted by Tournament Director at check-in.
Acceptance:	The application deadline is Wednesday, February 15^th. All entrants will be notified within 48 hrs. of the application deadline or receipt of application (whichever is latest) as to their status. Entrants that are not accepted will be given the option to have their complete application returned or to be placed on the waiting list.
